I am unable to connect my WMA-1000 to my network via OPS. What should I do? (Windows)

You can manually connect the Wi-Fi Music Player to your home network via the Settings menu (Graphical User Interface).

  • Go to Network and Sharing center; the  icon on the right in the taskbar.
  • Click 1x on the icon. An overview of all available networks now appears.
  • Select the name of your Wi-Fi Music Player from the list of available networks. The name (Network name) can be found on the base of the Wi-Fi Music Player.

Step 2

  • Open an Internet browser, such as Internet Explorer or Safari.
  • Type: http:// + the network name of your Wi-Fi Music Player
  • Press Enter
  • The name (Network name) can be found on the base of the Wi-Fi Music Player

Sample base of a Wi-Fi Music Player. The name (Network name) in this example is SITECOM-037F. Look for the name on the base of your Wi-Fi Music Player.

 

Step 3

Log in using your username and password. You can enter admin (both without capitals) for both the Username and Password then click on Sign in.

 

Step 4

Click on WiFi Setup, in the top right-hand corner.

Select the Wi-Fi network to which you wish to connect the Wi-Fi Music Player.
In the case of Sitecom routers, you can find the name of your network on the base of the device. If you do not have a Sitecom router and you do not know the name of your network, then consult the documentation for your router.
